The recent Club Car Championship raised a record $450,000 for Savannah, Ga. charities, according to WTOC-TV.

Pro golfer Steven Fisk birdied three of the final four holes of regulation to win in a sudden-death playoff at The Club Car Championship, which is part of the Korn Ferry Tour. The event has raised more than $1.6 million for charity since it was started seven years ago. This year’s tournament took place in April at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club.

“At the heart of the Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club is raising critical dollars to create a positive impact in the greater Savannah community and beyond,” tournament director Cheyenne Overby said. “The Club Car Championship is committed to continuing to grow the tradition of giving this tournament has established.”
