Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2022, Mr. Anfuso worked at New State Capital Partners. Mr. Anfuso holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Dave Aroesty is responsible for evaluating operational turnaround opportunities in the hospitality industry and other sectors in which real estate provides a strong element of downside protection to the investment thesis. He is member of the group responsible for the acquisitions and operations of Platinum Equity’s hotel platform. Dr. Aroesty joined Platinum in 2008 and previously graduated magna cum laude from Princeton with a degree in economics. He then graduated from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California and went on to become a practicing head and neck surgeon prior to joining Platinum.

Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2020, Mr. Arrabito held transaction advisory positions at Alvarez & Marsal and Ernst & Young.
Mr. Arrabito holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Seton Hall University.

Igor Chacartegui is responsible for the structuring and execution of European acquisition and divestiture transactions. Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2017, Mr. Chacartegui held a 7 year career at The Gores Group where he was a Managing Director based in London. Mr. Chacartegui also previously worked as a Vice President at Providence Equity Partners and M&A analyst at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Chacartegui holds a MSc. in business and finance from University of Deusto.

Prior to joining Platinum in 2001, Mr. Cooper spent five years with Ernst & Young’s Transaction Support and Audit practices in Los Angeles. Mr. Cooper received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from San Diego State University.

Fernando Goni is responsible for negotiating and structuring new acquisition opportunities in Europe. Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2017, Mr. Goni was a Managing Director and member of the investment committee at The Gores Group. There he was responsible for European acquisitions and divestitures. Mr. Goni also previously worked as an associate at Morgan Stanley and in the Business Consulting unit of Arthur Andersen. Mr. Goni holds a BSc. and a MSc. in Economics from the London School of Economics.
